Biblioteca Mariano Moreno

This emblematic library from San Rafael, founded in 1921, started working with only a small collection of a few volumes donated by private individuals. In 1927, as it got its own building, a series of artistic and intellectual activities were added that covered the needs of the whole population. Nowadays, it operates in the same building as the Omar Reina Arts Museum, and is a member of the Argentinean Cultural Center. At special hours, there are lectures, workshops and training courses in the library room. The volumes of the library have multiplied and now there is abundant material for the city’s inhabitants and whoever wishes to visit this prestigious institution to consult.
