METERED PARKING

ORD. MUNICIPAL N° 9411 (CITY REGULATION)

  Where Can I Park?
  • The metered parking system is established in the urban perimeter of San Rafael City.
Schedule:
  • Mon-Fri from 8:00 to 13:00 and from 15:30 to 20:30 h.
  • Saturdays from 8:00 to 13:00 h.
  • This Schedule is signaled on the affected blocks.
Where can I buy the cards?
  • The parking cards can be obtained at the different authorized shops located around the metered parking area, for 20, 00 ARS each. The cards enable parking for a period of an hour.
  • They must state the year, month, day, hour and minutes in which the parking took place, as well as the data of the Parked Vehicle Domain.
  What to do in case of getting a parking bill?
  • When getting a parking bill, tourists should go to Oficinas de Rentas Municipales (285 Cte. Salas St.) and pay a “voluntary fee” that has  the cost of 40 cards (800 ARS), which increases after 10 days. The office is open Mondays to Fridays from 07:00 to 12:45.
  • When tourists need to travel back home and the office is not open for payment, they should call Oficina de Estacionamiento Controlado Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 13:00 at 0260-4422121 extension 221, or send an email to [email protected] and ask to receive the bill to pay it at the closest pago fácil or rapipago (validity 24 hours).
 

FISHING PERMIT

 (LEY N° 4428) 

  In order to get the fishing permit at the Recursos Naturales offices:
  • Get the 297 code for tourists (valid for 15 days)
  • Get the 717 code for tourists (valid for 1 days)
  • Get the 296 code for locals an people from Mendoza
– Codes can be obtained at Bolsa de Comercio: 120 Pellegrini St. or Banco Nación: 113 H. Yrigoyen Av. After getting the code, go to Dirección de Recursos Naturales with your ID. It’s open from Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 15:00h. at 455 Independencia. Phone Number: 4438425.   Other spots for getting the permit only with your ID at businesses hours:

  • FISHING PERIODS / BAN 2018
  • Perch or Criolla trouts: banned from 7th, May until 11th, November.
  • Carps, Dientudos and Mojarras: authorized for the whole season in Diamante, Agua del Toro, Los Reyunos and downstream of Valle Grande, in the Atuel River. Carps and Dientudos have no limit, whereas Mojarras have a limit of 50 units per fishing excursion.
  • Pejerreyes (Silversides): Authorized until 12th, September. In Las Salinas, 15 units are allowed whereas in El Nihuil, Agua del Toro, Los Reyunos and Valle Grande, you can fish up to 30 units. In Valle Grande, there is a period extension until the 1st, December to fish during weekends and holidays.
  • Arco Iris, Marrón o Fontinalis Trouts: Giving back the fish is mandatory.
  • Fishing is allowed throughout the Laguna El Sosneado, El Nihuil, Agua del Toro and Los Reyunos, and in Diamante River, only upstream of Los Reyunos and downstream of Galileo Vitale, returning what you fish.
  • Besides, at the fishing reserve of El Diamante, people can practice the sport between the eastern wall of Los Reyunos and the west of Galileo Vitale, using fishing flies and returning the fish only.
